The Silena Semedo Foundation is accepting applications for its 2016 “Teach Me How to Be” Summer Camp. This summer camp is for boys and girls entering the 6-8 Grade. The camp will focus on teaching the students “How To” do the following: * Start & Run a Business * Start & Manage a Bank Account * Create & Build a Resume for Success & * Make a Great 1st Impression & Personal Appearance. Also, the camp will educate the students on the importance of good decision-making skills as it relates to the following topics: * Social Media * Bullying * Friends & Relationships * Healthy Living & * Drugs/Alcohol Usage.

Teach Me How to Be Summer Camp will run on Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s from 9:00 – 3:00 pm at Malone University. The cost is $50 per child. Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks are included. Also, each week students will participate in the following activities:* Friday Field Trips, * Weekly Arts & Craft, * Weekly Swimming *Weekly Sport or Board Game w/prizes, & *Weekly activities with the Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts. Space is limited only to 10 boy students and 10 girl students.
